My APCC app is a social impact app that helps citizens upload garbage images from the ground that are resolved by your operations team to keep the city clean.
At ChangeBhai, we believe it is important for you to understand what types of information we are collecting and what may happen to that information when using our apps, website and related online resources (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy covers the use of information collected by ChangeBhai and is designed to explain our policies and procedures with respect to collection, use and disclosure of information about you in connection with the Services.
1. The Information We Collect
“Personal Information” is individually identifiable information about an individual collected online.
We may collect the following information:
1. Name
2. Mobile Number
3. Device ID associated with your mobile device
4. Geolocation information sufficient to identify location from where you upload issue photo (say garbage spot)
We use Gallery permission to upload images reported by you into our system and SMS permission to fetch OTP for registration.
We may use mobile number provided by you following the initial download and installation to send a message that is used to activate your account, to notify you about the status of the issue your reported.
If you wish to prevent further collection of personal information associated with using the Product on your mobile device, then you may simply uninstall the Products from your mobile devices.
We may also use these when a user submits a form through the "Contact Us" portion of the Products or through our website so that we may respond to the inquiry. We collect this personal information for the purpose of responding directly on a one-time basis to a specific inquiry.
The device ID associated with your mobile device is collected in order to provide targeted customer support and push notifications to you based on your app usage.
The types of non-personal information we collect include, where applicable, your mobile carrier name, mobile device manufacturer and model, as well as certain standard information sent by your browser or mobile device.
2. How We Collect, Use, Disclose, and Store the Information We Collect
We use information we collect about our users in order to intimate them on the status of the issue uploaded by them. In addition, as described above, we may utilize the information we collect about our users to learn more about how they interact with our Services to customize the Services to their interests and enhance the user experience.
3. Sharing Information with Third Parties
Except as explicitly stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not share your information, either personally identifiable or anonymized, with third parties.
4. Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online.
5. Access to Information; Objection to Information Collection and Retention
Please contact us on now_or_abhi@changebhai.in if you would like to access the personal information that we have collected on your account, correct factual errors in such information, or request to have this information deleted. The deletion of data may lead to termination of your ChangeBhai account and future use of the Products may be disabled or inhibited. Please be sure to include your email address and a telephone number where we can reach you.
